The NPF condemned VDM’s actions in a recent video where he referred to himself as “CSP VeryDarkMan” and claimed to be Nigeria’s “number one online police officer.” This information was shared by the police on their X account on Friday.

In related developments, VeryDarkMan was detained by police on Thursday after responding to an official summons. Although the specific offense was not disclosed, his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, confirmed the detention in a post on X. He noted that VDM had complied with a similar invitation the previous day, stating, “Our client, VDM, has been detained after honoring a police invitation just like yesterday. VDM has consistently maintained that the Nigerian Police are our friends, even when we all know they are not.
