He made this statement on Thursday during a briefing by Rita Laranjinha, the Managing Director of the European Union’s External Action Service, regarding the upcoming Ministerial Dialogue scheduled for October 19, 2023.
As reported by Stanley Nkwocha, the Vice President’s media aide, Shettima expressed concerns about migration issues and urged the EU to collaborate with the Tinubu administration to address this challenge by promoting job growth within the digital sector.
He emphasized that the EU’s agenda aligns seamlessly with the eight-point agenda of the Tinubu administration, making it an ideal partner for initiatives aimed at enhancing employment prospects in Nigeria.
Shettima highlighted the potential for the EU and Nigeria to collaborate on projects and programs that would not only benefit Nigerians but also contribute to the overall development of the African continent.
