VIDEO: Shettima, Atiku, Governors Converge For Special Prayer In Honour Of Tinubu’s Late Mother

Vice President Kashim Shettima on Sunday joined governors, ministers, traditional rulers, and other senior government officials at the National Mosque in Abuja for a special annual prayer session in honour of the late Chief Abibatu Mogaji, mother of President Bola Tinubu.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The event was confirmed in a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communication (Office of the Vice President), Stanley Nkwocha.

The yearly gathering brought together political leaders, government officials, and Islamic scholars who offered prayers for the peaceful repose of the late matriarch.

Among those who accompanied the Vice President were the Governor of Borno State, Babagana Umara Zulum, and the Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni.

Others in attendance included the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Muttaqa Rabe Darma; the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Atiku Bagudu; and the Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Ibrahim Masari.

Several former governors, including Usman Ododo of Kogi State and Uba Sani of Kaduna State, alongside traditional rulers and other top government officials, also participated in the prayer session.

The annual event is held in remembrance of Chief Abibatu Mogaji, a respected businesswoman, community leader, and political figure whose influence extended beyond Lagos State.
