Viral Tfare Saga: Lady Reacts After Being Dragged To Court by Disappointed Man Video

A Nigerian lady has finally spoken out following a viral courtroom video in which a man identified as Emmanuel sued her, accusing her of breaching a promise after sending her transport fare.

Sharing her side of the story, the lady explained that Emmanuel was someone she only met online and had never seen physically. She claimed that despite her refusal, Emmanuel insisted she travel from Asaba to Abuja to meet him.

“Before Emmanuel sent that money to me for transportation, I told him to come over to my city. He refused, saying he could not visit a woman. Out of nowhere, he just sent me ₦50,000, claiming it was transport fare. How can ₦50,000 take me from Asaba to Abuja?” she said.

The lady added that when she didn’t make the trip, Emmanuel and his friends allegedly began threatening her. According to her, she even offered to refund the money, but Emmanuel rejected it and became angry.

In frustration, she asked: “What if I had gone there and something happened to me? People would still blame me. If women choose to stay in one place, people will talk; if they decide to travel, people will still talk. What exactly do you want from us?”

She further alleged that she eventually refunded Emmanuel ₦450,000, far more than the ₦50,000 being circulated online. The lady also accused some individuals of secretly recording her despite a court order prohibiting filming during the proceedings.
