Mrs. Moyosola Adesina, the acting Head of Public Affairs at WAEC, announced that Dr. Amos Dangut, the Head of the National Office (HNO), will reveal the results at the council’s headquarters in Yaba.

The results come 45 days after the completion of the last exam paper. According to Naija News, Dangut previously stated that out of the 1.8 million students who took the exam, 902,328 (49.73%) were male and 912,016 (50.27%) were female. The candidates were tested in 76 subjects across 197 papers, with 30,000 secondary school teachers supervising the examination.

Dangut also mentioned that, following WAEC’s recent practice, results would be released 45 days after the last paper, with certificates to be printed and distributed to schools within 90 days. Additionally, digital copies of the certificates will be available on the digital certificate platform.

The release of the results is timely as universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education have begun their admission processes. This will aid candidates looking to secure admission during the current cycle. Some institutions have already started their Post-UTME screening and testing dates.
