The party also maintained that its candidates are credible, experienced, and free from any allegations or history of corruption.

The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Bolaji Abdullahi, made this known in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, while speaking at a stakeholders’ get-together.

He also dismissed the idea that the party would merge with or collapse into any existing political party in its pursuit of electoral success.

According to Abdullahi, the African Democratic Congress is open to forming alliances with other political groups ahead of 2027, provided such collaborations are based on shared ideology.

He further noted that the party’s membership in Kwara State is steadily increasing on a daily basis.

Abdullahi added that the ADC remains open to welcoming new members from other political parties, stressing that “our door is wide open.”

He criticised the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), alleging that the party has presided over rising insecurity and economic hardship in the country. However, he insisted that the ADC has the capacity to address these challenges and restore progress.

He highlighted concerns over increasing cases of kidnapping, banditry, and killings across various states, describing the situation as alarming and in urgent need of change.

Abdullahi called on Nigerians to rally support for the ADC ahead of the 2027 elections.

“We have qualified and experienced candidates. We don’t have candidates that have been to EFCC before,” he said.
