Joshua weighed in at 243.4 pounds, comfortably under the 245-pound contractual limit, while Paul, typically a cruiserweight, came in at 216.6 pounds.

The fight is scheduled for 1 a.m. Nigerian time at the Kaseya Centre, Miami. The eight-round bout is sanctioned as a professional contest, allowing knockouts. Should Joshua knock Paul down, the American will have a standard 10-count to prove he can continue. If the fight goes the distance, three judges will score the bout to determine the winner.
