Presidential Villa, Abuja —
As the political heat intensifies ahead of 2027, Minister of Regional Development, Engr. Abubakar Momoh FNSE , stole headlines with a bold declaration that the APC remains united, focused, and poised to deliver on its promises to the Nigerian people.
Speaking to reporters shortly after the high-stakes APC National Summit held at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Momoh dismissed any notion of cracks within the party’s ranks. His words? Clear and unshaken:
“We are united. We are focused. We are ready to serve this nation with renewed energy and commitment.”
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, party chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, and key APC stalwarts were in full attendance — signaling a show of force and solidarity at the top.
With the conviction of a man driven by purpose, Abubakar Momoh reaffirmed that regional development is a pillar of the Renewed Hope agenda — vowing that under his stewardship, Nigeria’s long-overlooked regions will witness deliberate and lasting transformation.
“Gone are the days of cosmetic projects and media hype,” Momoh declared. “We are institutionalizing development. Real frameworks, real impact — from the North to the South.”
The minister also hinted at the smooth rollout of newly formed regional commissions, citing ongoing strategic engagements with NDDC, NEDC, and upcoming entities for the North Central , North West , South East, South West and South South
“We are building structures that will outlive politics,” he added.
As the summit echoed with confidence and cohesion, Abubakar Momoh’s behind-the-scenes assurance to reporters was perhaps the most telling sign yet — that the APC is not just prepared for 2027, but strategically arming itself with results, reforms, and renewed hope.
