What Nigerians Must Do If They Have AK-47 –Former Governorship Canditate, Gbadamosi

A former Lagos governorship candidate, Babatunde Gbadamosi, has called on Nigerians to arm themselves in self-defense against terrorists and criminal elements threatening the nation’s security.

In a post shared on , the real estate developer and politician urged citizens not to use age or other factors as an excuse, stressing that disarmament attempts should be strongly resisted.

“Dear Nigerians, arm yourselves. Buy crossbows, AK-47 rifles, GPMGs, RPG launchers, LAVs (made in Nigeria), and drones. Learn to use them. Resist any attempt to disarm you because anyone who tries to disarm you wants you to be murdered,” Gbadamosi wrote.

He further emphasized that insecurity affects everyone regardless of gender, religion, or age, warning that refusing to take proactive measures could leave Nigerians vulnerable to what he described as Fulani Muslim jihadist terrorists.

His statement comes amid worsening insecurity and rising bandit attacks across the country.

Meanwhile, Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has vowed to wipe out bandits and kidnappers from the state following a recent deadly attack on Oke-Ode community in Ifelodun Local Government Area.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, the governor revealed that President Bola Tinubu had been briefed on the incident. He added that the Army Headquarters had relocated the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 2nd Division to Ilorin as part of intensified operations.

According to him, joint forces of the Army, DSS, and Police have already launched a major offensive along the Kwara-Kogi border to track down those responsible for the attack.
