The Nigerian Police have issued a ₦20 million reward for information leading to their arrest. Wynne has vehemently denied the allegations and claims he has not received a formal summons from the police.

According to police spokesperson Muyiwa Adejobi, Wynne was given several chances to come forward and defend himself. “We have established offences against him and declared him wanted. His associates have already been charged in court. He should come forward and prove his innocence,” Adejobi stated.

In an interview with *The Punch*, Wynne expressed grave concerns for his safety, citing the case of his employee, Yomi, who he says was severely tortured after his arrest. Wynne fears he would face a similar fate if he surrendered.

“It’s not just about fear of torture or being beaten. It’s a matter of life and death. Yomi was tortured for three days, and I fear I wouldn’t survive if I returned to Nigeria,” said Wynne, a 70-year-old businessman.
