The 36-year-old Nollywood star previously stirred controversy after stating that being a woman’s first sexual partner could be emotionally challenging for men.

In a recent interview on Nollywood on Radio, monitored by journalists, Baaj explained that his earlier remarks were misunderstood and taken out of context.

He noted that the original conversation was centered around societal perceptions of virginity. While acknowledging that virginity is a valuable trait, he emphasized that it should never be used to make others feel inadequate or judged.

Baaj also spoke about his own personal experience, recounting how being a woman’s first sexual partner had a deep emotional impact on him. He described the experience as uncomfortable and painful for the woman, which in turn affected him emotionally.

“My intention was never to shame virgins or discourage anyone,” he said. “I was simply sharing a youthful experience. There was blood, pain, and a lot of crying, which made it far from enjoyable. I value mutual pleasure, and in that situation, she couldn’t enjoy it.”

He stressed that his point was not to condemn virginity, but to highlight that first-time sexual experiences can be intense and emotionally complex for both individuals involved.
