According to SaharaReporters, a source close to the matter revealed that Pastor Daniel, along with two individuals named Enenche Enenche and Alexander Enenche, was ordered to be remanded at Keffi Prison in Nasarawa State.

This directive was issued by a Magistrate Court in Wuse, Abuja, following their court appearance on Monday.

Interestingly, Alexander and Enenche Enenche are siblings of Pastor Paul Enenche, the senior pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, where Abraham Daniel previously served.

Disputes After Resignation

The source explained that Pastor Daniel’s legal troubles began after he resigned from Dunamis International Gospel Centre following a decade of dedicated service, during which the church experienced significant growth.

His resignation reportedly caused tension between him and Pastor Paul Enenche, ultimately leading to a breakdown in their relationship.

The source shared, “Pastor Daniel’s resignation was met with stiff opposition from Pastor Enenche who tried to lure him back to the church. Consequently, his wife insisted he return, which eventually led to their divorce.”

Allegations of Harassment and Arrest

According to the insider, shortly after leaving the church, Pastor Daniel began receiving threatening messages via calls and social media.

One such incident resulted in a car accident that rendered his vehicle irreparable.

“After leaving the church, he started receiving threats through calls and social media. On a fateful day, he was heavily threatened until he had an accident, making his car a total loss.

“He shared his location with the callers, who met him at the accident scene. They were dressed in mufti, and after a brief interaction with the car’s owner, he was taken away. He later discovered that the men were police officers. He was then taken to Karu Police Station, where the DPO informed him that the arrest was at the instance of Pastor Paul Enenche.

“The DPO suggested that he apologize, but when he tried reaching out to Pastor Paul Enenche, his calls were unanswered.”

Failed Agreements and Ongoing Disputes

The situation escalated when Pastor Daniel met with Pastor Stanley at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) to resolve the dispute.

“After agreeing orally to delete his Facebook page in exchange for his car replacement, Pastor Enenche reneged on the agreement, offering only ₦200,000.00, which left Pastor Daniel deeply disappointed.”

Cyber-Bullying Allegations

On January 3, 2025, the Force Intelligence Department (FID) invited Pastor Daniel for questioning regarding allegations of cyber-bullying, criminal defamation, and incitement.

During his detention, police officers showed him WhatsApp messages allegedly shared by him.

“On January 7, 2025, he was invited for an interview regarding cyber-bullying and incitement. He confirmed that the chats shown were accurate and refused to recall their sources.

“He was asked to apologize to Paul Enenche and remove all posts before the next invitation date, set for January 13, 2025. However, on that day, he was again detained,” the source concluded.
