According to Naija News, Inuwa, who served as the campaign director for Atiku/Lado in Katsina State during the 2023 general elections, expressed these concerns during a stakeholders’ meeting in Katsina, where the party’s state crisis was discussed.

Former PDP national secretary Umar Ibrahim Tsauri, who chaired the meeting, pledged to do everything possible to revive the party in Katsina before the upcoming congresses.

During the meeting, Inuwa accused Wike and Ortom of undermining the opposition party in favor of President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 election.

“It is common knowledge that both Wike and Ortom have declared they have no presidential candidate to support in the 2027 elections, but they endorsed President Tinubu,” Inuwa said. “Their main aim was not to win the election but to weaken the party (PDP) ahead of the 2027 election in favor of President Tinubu, and that is why they are using stooges in the state to fulfill their mission.”

Additionally, some stakeholders in Katsina have accused a faction led by the 2023 governorship candidate, Yakubu Lado Danmarke, supported by the state caretaker committee appointed by the national working committee, of withholding party Congress forms.
