Dr. Maureen Tamuno, former Nigerian Ambassador to Jamaica, has shattered a 30-year glass ceiling by assuming the role of Group Managing Director at Abuja Investments Company Limited (AICL), marking the first time a woman has held this position in the company’s history. Her appointment, effective April 8, 2024, comes after an announcement by the Honourable Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike, on April 4, 2024.
In a statement released by the company’s Head of Public Relations and Communications, Dr. Tamuno, recognized as a highly accomplished leader and diplomat, brings a wealth of experience in strategic marketing, consumer behavior, and leadership to her new role.
A distinguished alumna of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Dr. Tamuno holds a degree in Management Studies, as well as advanced degrees in Marketing from Ebonyi State University.
