Wike Criticizes Fubara For Aspiring To Governorship Without Supporting State Assembly....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, has accused Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, of hypocrisy, expressing regret for supporting Fubara’s gubernatorial candidacy. Wike alleges that Fubara manipulated him into backing his gubernatorial bid despite lacking genuine intentions for the state’s welfare. He criticized Fubara for aspiring to independent governance while neglecting the same courtesy to the State Assembly.

Speaking at a gathering in Port Harcourt, Wike voiced his concerns, highlighting the discord between him and his successor. Their ongoing feud shows no signs of reconciliation.

Addressing the crowd, Wike emphasized Fubara’s contradictory stance on governance, accusing him of hypocrisy in seeking independence while undermining the State Assembly’s autonomy. Wike’s remarks reflect the deepening animosity between the two political figures.

In another event, Wike labeled his political adversaries in Rivers State as “political harlots,” asserting his resilience against their machinations. He expressed confidence in overcoming their challenges, citing the loyalty of supporters like Kingsley Chinda, whom he praised for his integrity.

Mocking those who abandoned him during the succession process, Wike denounced their opportunism, affirming his unwavering commitment to defeating such adversaries. He dismissed their lack of loyalty and branded them as unfit to represent the interests of the Ikwerre and Rivers people.

Reflecting on past confrontations with these opponents, Wike recounted their failed attempts to thwart his political ambitions, underscoring his triumph over their machinations. Despite their opposition, he remained steadfast in his pursuit of regional representation, securing victory against their divisive tactics.

Wike’s narrative underscores the enduring power struggle within Rivers State’s political landscape, marked by personal rivalries and shifting alliances. His words reflect a determined resolve to navigate these challenges and uphold his political influence in the region.
