Dogara had accused Mohammed of being a betrayer and an ingrate for verbally attacking the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, who Dogara claimed financed Mohammed’s gubernatorial campaign.

In a statement issued through his spokesperson, Mukhtar Kobi, on Thursday, Suleiman described Dogara’s comments as verbose, baseless, and self-serving. He argued that the allegations were an unfounded attempt to tarnish the reputation of a leader committed to Bauchi State’s progress.

Suleiman asserted that Governor Mohammed’s campaign was not dependent on any single individual but was driven by trust and collective support. He praised the governor as a statesman whose leadership prioritizes the interests of the people over personal or political gains.

“The governor’s mandate was earned through valuable service, grassroots appeal, and a commitment to governance, not through backroom deals or personal favors,” Suleiman stated.

He dismissed Dogara’s claims of betrayal as political distortions and emphasized that Governor Mohammed’s success was a product of inclusivity and transparency rather than reliance on personal wealth.

“Unlike some politicians, Governor Bala Mohammed’s leadership thrives on collective trust, not the whims of any one individual,” Suleiman concluded.
