With Fuel Prices Climbing, Tinubu Travels From UK To FrancePresident Bola Ahmed Tinubu has left the United Kingdom for Paris, France, for an “important engagement” following over a week in the UK.
Ibrahim Kabir Masari, the Senior Special Assistant on Political and Other Matters to the President, shared the news on Friday via his X account. He stated, “Today, I had the honor of visiting President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR at his private residence in the United Kingdom, where we engaged in productive discussions. We then departed for Paris, France, for another important engagement.”
Details of this upcoming engagement have not been disclosed.
DAILY POST recalls that President Tinubu traveled to the UK on October 2 for a two-week working vacation, part of his annual leave. This vacation occurs amid widespread economic challenges facing Nigerians. The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited recently raised the price of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) to N1,030 per litre, exacerbating the hardships many citizens are experiencing.
