The governor declared that maintaining robust security is crucial for community development and assured continuous empowerment of security agencies with logistical support. Aiyedatiwa emphasized the administration’s dedication to ensuring criminals find no haven in the state, citing substantial investments in strengthening the Amotekun Corps and supporting other security agencies.

He urged traditional rulers to exercise restraint and caution in utilizing their authority, emphasizing the need to foster love and unity among subjects using the instruments of office. Aiyedatiwa highlighted the importance of community unity as a valuable asset for socioeconomic development.

Congratulating Oba Michael Akinfolarin and the people of Akotogbo, the governor called on all contenders for the stool to collaborate with the new monarch for accelerated town development. Oba Akinfolarin, expressing gratitude to the governor, pledged to govern his people with fairness and a deep sense of responsibility. The vacancy in the Akotogbo stool arose after the passing of late Oba Jolade Turoti on May 20, 2009.
