₦100 Million No Do! – Portable Demands ₦1 Billion To Battle VeryDarkMan

Nigerian street-pop sensation, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has turned down a ₦100 million offer to engage in a physical fight with social media critic Martins Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan (VDM). The singer made it clear that he would only consider the challenge if offered a staggering ₦1 billion.

Their feud began when Portable publicly slammed VDM for consistently criticising President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, accusing the activist of showing blatant disrespect to the nation’s leadership. This sparked a heated exchange between the two, with both launching verbal attacks, trading accusations, and even releasing diss tracks.

“You’re fighting a government that doesn’t even acknowledge you. Stay in your lane,” Portable said in one of his Instagram videos.

In a widely shared clip, Portable dismissed the ₦100 million offer, stating it was too little and claiming he often receives such amounts from his loyal fans.

He said, “₦100 million? My fans give me that. That’s not enough to fight VDM. Give me ₦1 billion, then I’ll fight him and beat him.

“If anyone can provide ₦1 billion, I’m ready. You want me to fight someone you can’t even hold down? You can’t arrest him, yet you want me to fight him.”
