Play-off Paths

  • Path A: Italy will face Northern Ireland, while Wales take on Bosnia and Herzegovina in the other semi-final.

  • Path B: Ukraine have been drawn against Sweden, and Poland will meet Albania.

  • Path C: Turkey will host Romania, with Slovakia set to battle Kosovo.

  • Path D: Denmark will play North Macedonia, and the Czech Republic will go up against Ireland.

Teams were seeded based on their latest FIFA world rankings. The top-seeded sides include Italy (12), Denmark (21), Turkey (25), and Ukraine (28). They are followed by Poland (31), Wales (32), the Czech Republic (44), and Slovakia (45). The third tier features Ireland (59), Albania (63), Bosnia and Herzegovina (71), and Kosovo (80). Romania, Sweden, North Macedonia, and Northern Ireland qualified through the UEFA Nations League route, placing them in the fourth tier automatically.
