Speaking at a forum organized by the party’s Directorate of Mobilization and Integration (DMI) in Awka, Anambra State, last Saturday, Abure, represented by the party’s National Women Leader, Mrs. Dudu Manuga, emphasized that the Labour Party has evolved beyond being a briefcase party and is now firmly established across all states in Nigeria and Abuja.

He stated, “We aim to use Anambra as a test case for what we envision in 2027. The Labour Party has grown beyond a briefcase party, and we are fully prepared not only for Anambra but also for 2027.”

Abure encouraged unity among party members, urging that after the primary election, no one should harbor grievances. Instead, he called for collective efforts to secure victory in the November governorship election.

The forum served as a platform for party aspirants to connect with delegates ahead of the primary election. Aspirants George Moghalu and John Nwosu also took the opportunity to present their manifestos to party members.
