Amid growing speculation that plans are in motion to integrate Kwankwaso into the APC ahead of the 2027 presidential election, NNPP loyalists are making their stance clear.

Speaking with Daily Post on Sunday, the Kano State Chairman of the NNPP, Hashimu Dungurawa, affirmed that wherever Kwankwaso leads, his followers will go.

“Kwankwaso is a formidable figure in Nigerian politics, particularly in the North,” Dungurawa said. “No other political personality in the region currently matches his influence or credibility. If his joining the APC would serve the country’s interests, then may Allah guide him there.”

He continued: “This country is in dire need of strong leadership and direction. We have seen Kwankwaso’s track record — as Minister of Defence, he helped restore peace in Sudan. As a senator and governor of Kano, his performance was unmatched.”

“If the APC believes bringing him into their fold would help, so be it. We are his loyal followers — blindly so. Wherever he goes, we go. I will always stand by him and say, ‘Yes, Sir,’ to whatever decision he makes.”
