According to Naija News, Umahi made this known through a statement issued on Friday by his Special Adviser, Orji Uchenna Orji. He described President Tinubu’s recent visit to the South East as a clear sign of his commitment to inclusive governance.

Umahi lauded the President for placing the South East at the forefront of national development under the Renewed Hope agenda, and for ensuring that the region benefits through concrete policies and effective implementation.

He stated: “The President’s inclusive leadership and his dedication to building an equitable nation were reflected in his remarks during the visit: ‘Anambra has immense potential, and with Governor Soludo, we can accelerate our shared vision. We will keep partnering with your state to deliver prosperity to Ndi Anambra and all Nigerians.’”

Umahi expressed deep appreciation to President Tinubu and assured him that the people of Anambra and the entire South East, being grateful and loyal, would honour him with strong electoral support in 2027.

He further commended the President’s emphasis on critical infrastructure—such as roads, power, and rail—as well as the Presidential Power Initiative and digital economy plans, which he said would open greater opportunities for the enterprising people of the region.
