The development comes amid a petition filed by the Idibia family to the Inspector-General of Police, accusing Natasha of assaulting the singer and unlawfully accessing his finances.

In the letter dated November 12, the family urged authorities to launch a full-scale investigation into incidents that allegedly caused 2Baba emotional trauma, financial losses, and damage to his public image.

The petition cites claims from 2Baba and witnesses suggesting multiple cases of physical assault in both the UK and Abuja. Natasha is also accused of transferring money from the singer’s accounts without consent and withholding vital documents — including his passport — reportedly preventing him from meeting business obligations.

Reacting via a video shared on Friday, 2Baba accused his family of causing more harm than good, insisting they had tarnished Natasha’s reputation and worsened the situation instead of resolving it.

He asserted that he is “grown enough” to make his own decisions about his personal life, alleging that similar family interference contributed to the breakdown of his previous marriage to Annie Idibia.

“This whole situation has gotten dangerously out of hand — Natasha is getting death threats,” he said. “I will not stay silent anymore. I’m grown and have the right to do what I want and be with whoever I want. My family, who claimed they wanted to save me, have actually destroyed me and damaged someone’s daughter’s character.

“Natasha and I had a disagreement — who doesn’t argue with their spouse? Yes, things are heated, but I am perfectly fine. My family also did this same thing with Annie.”
