2Baba Breaks Silence With Emotional Apology To Natasha: ‘That’s Not Who I Am’
Renowned Nigerian music icon, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba or 2Face, has issued a heartfelt apology to his new partner, Natasha Osawaru, his children, and fans following a controversial statement where he claimed that men are not biologically wired to be sexually committed to one woman.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The comment came five months after the singer publicly confirmed his separation from his wife, Annie Macaulay-Idibia.
In a recent interview with media personality Nedu, 2Baba stirred public outrage by asserting that, in his opinion, it’s nearly impossible for a man to remain sexually loyal to one woman. He stated that while a man can truly love and devote his heart to one partner, staying sexually faithful is a different matter.
During the conversation, Nedu asked: “Can a man be loyal and still be 2Face?” To which 2Baba replied:
“I’ve said this before and got into trouble, but I’ll speak for myself. I believe men are not naturally built to be with just one woman sexually. They can love one woman with all their heart, but sexual exclusivity is another story.”
After facing widespread backlash, the singer posted a video on Instagram admitting his mistake and expressing regret for his words.
He said: “I know I messed up with what I said. I understand I might get cancelled, but I sincerely apologize — to my fans, my kids, and most importantly, Natasha, the love of my life. I’m terribly sorry. That’s not who I am.”
