74-Year-Old Patient Believed Deceased Discovered Alive At Funeral Home

A hospice patient presumed deceased was discovered to be alive by funeral home workers in Nebraska, as reported by the police.

Constance Glantz, 74, had been declared dead on Monday morning, June 3, at the Lincoln nursing home where she had been receiving hospice care. Subsequently, she was transferred to the Butherus-Maser & Love Funeral Home, according to ABC News.

However, just before noon, while a funeral home worker was attending to her body, they observed signs of breathing. Promptly, the staff initiated CPR and contacted the authorities.
