In a statement by the coalition’s leader, Malam Abdulrazak Abdulmuminu, it was emphasized that without the intervention of private security firms like Tantita, Nigeria’s daily crude oil production would have plunged below 500,000 barrels.

This collaborative effort between private security companies and state entities, including Nigerian security forces, has significantly reduced oil theft and contributed to the relative peace and increased oil production in the Niger Delta region.

Abdulrazak urged the government, led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to prosecute those involved in oil theft and provide more support to private security firms like Tantita, highlighting their crucial role in enhancing Nigeria’s oil production.
