During his stay, which began on Wednesday, President Tinubu engaged in various diplomatic activities, including the signing of the Gulf of Guinea Pipeline Agreement. This crucial deal is set to enhance energy cooperation, improve regional energy security, and promote economic integration between the two countries.

The visit also led to the revival of the Nigeria-Equatorial Guinea Joint National Commission, which will support further bilateral projects. Many of these initiatives are slated to begin in November, ushering in a new phase of collaboration between the two nations.

President Tinubu left Malabo International Airport around 4:03 pm, accompanied by Equatorial Guinea’s Prime Minister, Manuela Roka Botey, marking the conclusion of a significant and productive visit. This trip is Tinubu’s first official visit to the Central African country and his 22nd foreign destination since taking office 15 months ago.
