A wedding in Northern Nigeria has drawn attention due to the couple’s unusual demeanor.
A video shared by a wedding guest on TikTok, via the handle @Muhammadabdullah5685, captures the bride and groom seated at their reception, noticeably distant from each other and avoiding eye contact.
The groom appeared visibly upset, while the bride seemed anxious, leaning into a guest who comforted her with a reassuring hand on her shoulder.
The couple did not acknowledge the guests who threw 10 and 20 naira notes at them, and later, the bride was seen frowning and dancing alone on the dance floor without her groom.
