According to Lt. Col. Olaniyi Osoba, MNJTF spokesman, one suspect was apprehended along the Kekeno-Cross Kauwa road in Borno, where a significant quantity of substances and 198 parcels of marijuana were seized. Another suspect was arrested on the Gubio-Damasak road while driving a blue Toyota pickup. This individual was found with two sacks containing 19 bundles of clothing materials, suspected to be intended for terrorist uniforms and flags.

Additionally, the troops rescued three women and a baby who reportedly escaped from terrorist enclaves in the southern Lake Chad island in Marte Local Government Area of Borno. These individuals are now undergoing medical assessment and profiling.
