The suspects, identified as Adamu Abubakar, Mohammed Bello, and Musa Adamu, were apprehended on October 7, 2024, in Andamin village, within the Karim Lamido local government area. Additionally, during a separate operation in the Lau local government area, troops captured a significant logistics supplier linked to a notorious terrorist group.

The details of the operation were disclosed in a statement issued to journalists in Jalingo, the state capital, by the Acting spokesperson of the Brigade, Captain Oni Olubodunde. He stated that a special operation conducted on October 7 in the Andamin area of Karim Lamido LGA resulted in the successful capture of suspected bandits in Jeb, a border community between Taraba and Plateau States.

The suspect arrested in Lau, identified as Musa Inusa, is believed to have been providing critical supplies and materials to terrorists operating in the region. According to the troops, his arrest is anticipated to disrupt the supply chain and significantly impair the operational capabilities of the terrorist group.

Items recovered from Inusa include a jackknife, N2,460 in cash, wraps of a substance suspected to be Indian hemp, and other illicit drugs.
