An eyewitness, speaking anonymously to Punch, revealed that the content creator is currently in critical condition and receiving treatment at Perez Medcare Hospital, Lekki Phase 2. The source shared, “When I arrived at the hospital, I wasn’t allowed in. The nurse simply told us to keep praying as his condition is critical. We don’t know who he might have offended, and he might not know either. I just hope he survives and learns to be more cautious.”

The Lagos State Police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the shooting, stating, “Salo was shot yesterday at Admiralty Way, Lekki. We have launched an investigation into the incident, and updates will follow.”

Before the shooting, Salo was reportedly involved in a dispute with fellow TikToker, Tobi Nation, regarding the purchase of a new apartment. Salo claimed to have connected Tobi Nation with the agent who sold him a house in Lekki, but Tobi Nation refuted this, stating he didn’t agree with the suggested payment plan.

Reacting to the attack, Tobi Nation expressed his sadness over the news and shared that he had visited the hospital where Salo was being treated, though he wasn’t permitted to see him.
