Falana elaborated, saying, “Justice Danladi Umar has grossly abused his position and should have resigned by now. He was once charged with corruption by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).”

He also accused Umar of sending threatening text messages against him, an allegation confirmed by a police investigation.

Falana added, “While that investigation was ongoing, he was involved in a public altercation at a market in Wuse. Additionally, two prominent bar leaders lodged complaints against him with the Legal Practitioners Commission.”

Falana also highlighted a Senate decision recommending Umar’s removal on grounds of gross misconduct, asserting that the recommendation aligned with constitutional provisions.
