Jonathan Shares Insights On What To Expect This Year

Jonathan acknowledged the challenges faced in 2024, particularly due to economic hardships, but commended Nigerians for their resilience throughout the year.
In his New Year message on Wednesday, he expressed optimism for 2025, assuring citizens that it would be a prosperous and transformative year for the country.
“With gratitude to God, I welcome you to the New Year, 2025,” he said. “This year holds immense potential for both individuals and our nation, despite the difficulties we’ve encountered.”
Jonathan encouraged Nigerians to approach the year with faith and optimism, drawing strength from the lessons learned in 2024.
“Though last year presented numerous challenges, our collective determination enabled us to overcome them, both as individuals and as a nation. These experiences provide valuable lessons that will inspire us toward a better future in 2025.”
He further urged all citizens to focus on peace, sincerity, justice, and continuous efforts to improve society. “This year, let us commit to working with diligence, sincerity, and a shared dedication to justice and peace everywhere,” he concluded.
