Wanted Terrorist Bello Turji Goes Into Hiding As Army Pursues Him – CDS Musa Reveals
The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, has revealed that the military is closing in on notorious bandit leader, Bello Turji, who is currently evading capture.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
CDS Musa stated that Turji is aware of the military’s pursuit and has gone into hiding. However, he emphasized that this will not prevent the military from carrying out its operations to arrest him.
Musa further mentioned that the military has already neutralized Turji’s commanders, and it is only a matter of time before the infamous bandit leader is apprehended.
Speaking on Channels Television’s 2024 Year-In-Review programme on December 31, 2024, Musa confirmed, “He knows we are after him, which is why he’s been operating underground, but we are continuing our operations. We have taken out those close to him, killed his commanders, and we are making progress. It’s just a matter of time.”
The CDS also shared that more than 120,000 terrorists have surrendered in the North-East, with some revealing they were coerced into insurgency. He assured that those behind the terror activities in the country would be brought to justice.
