Tinubu Ties Exposed? Atiku’s Son Accuses Bala Mohammed’s Son Of Secret Government Alliance
Mohammed Atiku-Abubakar, son of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has alleged that Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State is secretly aligning himself with President Bola Tinubu’s administration.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
He made the claim while responding to comments made by Shamsu Bala, son of Governor Bala Mohammed, who asserted that his father never supported Atiku’s presidential bids in the 2019 and 2023 elections, and would not do so in 2027.
In a statement issued on Monday in Abuja, Mohammed Atiku-Abubakar maintained that his father had never benefitted from Governor Bala’s support, emphasizing, “The only difference now is that Shamsu has taken off the mask—there’s no longer any need to entertain illusions of loyalty from his father.”
He described Shamsu’s remarks as arrogant and inflated in self-importance, asserting that Governor Bala’s alleged mishandling of the PDP Governors Forum stems from his own presidential ambitions.
“Let it be clear to Shamsu that Atiku has never concerned himself with his father’s political entanglements,” he added. “Atiku’s politics is principled and mature—far above petty distractions. Any conflict Bala Mohammed may have faced during the 2023 pre-election period in Bauchi was strictly a local matter, unrelated to Atiku.”
Mohammed further asserted that Governor Bala has never been a true supporter of Atiku’s political journey. On the contrary, he accused the governor of secretly working against Atiku in 2023—a role allegedly confirmed by the FCT Minister and Bala’s political ally, Nyesom Wike.
“Governor Bala’s secret dealings with the Tinubu administration are no longer a surprise to us,” Mohammed concluded. “His ambition for the presidency has clearly compromised his ability to lead the PDP Governors Forum effectively or garner the respect of his peers.”
