Radiogad, however, dismissed the gesture as political theatrics and a show of desperation.

In a fiery online reaction on Friday, Radiogad accused the former Anambra governor of engaging in “eye service,” likening Obi’s behavior to that of a “common waiter” trying too hard to appear humble and win public favor.

“Peter Obi, your eye service is too much. You’re clearly desperate for power. I spit on your face. You’re embarrassing Anambra men,” Radiogad said in his outburst. “A whole former governor, now serving food at events just to look humble? It’s disgraceful. Some gullible Nigerians may defend him, but to me, it’s pure clout chasing.”

He argued that Nigerians are drawn to bold, authoritative leaders—not those he perceives as weak or overly soft.

“President Tinubu may not be the best, but he has swag. That’s the kind of leader Nigerians like—someone who appears tough and commanding. Peter Obi, you’re too soft, like a woman. You don’t have the heart or the guts to be president. Why would you stoop to serving food? You’re above that now,” he concluded.
