During an interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra in London, the 34-year-old artist from Rivers State opened up about the difficulty of balancing a music career filled with constant travel and the demands of family life.
Burna Boy admitted that although he desires to have a family someday, doing so while constantly on tour wouldn’t be ideal.
“I don’t want to start that on the road,” he said. “I’m not planning to quit touring anytime soon, so I really don’t know how to balance both right now.”
Meanwhile, Burna Boy just dropped his latest studio album titled ‘No Sign of Weakness’, which marks the eighth major project in his career. Released on Friday, July 11, 2025, the 16-track album blends rich African heritage with global sounds, reflecting deep personal emotions and cultural pride. The project features collaborations with top local and international artists, showcasing Burna Boy’s signature Afro-fusion sound on a global scale.
