I’m Hanging By A Thread – Mr Ibu’s Wife Opens Up On Struggles With Depression And Unanswered Prayers

In a heartfelt video shared on Instagram on Tuesday, Stella revealed that life has been extremely challenging since the death of her husband in March 2024. She shared that her children remain her sole source of strength as she prays for peace and comfort.

She wrote: “I’m passing through depression right now. Only those close to me will understand. I have suffered a lot. I can’t wait for God to answer my prayers. My children are the only happiness I have (depression is real).”

Prior to this post, Stella also shared a photo of her late son, remembering the tragic loss he suffered 13 years ago. The boy, who would have turned 16, died after being poisoned during a kidnapping and reportedly received inadequate medical care at the hospital.

The consecutive losses of her son and husband have left deep emotional scars, and Stella is struggling to cope with the memories.

Mr Ibu passed away on March 2, 2024, following months of illness that involved multiple surgeries and a leg amputation. During his illness, Stella revealed that the family faced both financial and emotional hardships, with several foreign hospitals reportedly declining further treatment for him.
