few years ago, two doctors from the Texas Heart Institute successfully installed a unique device in a patient named Craig Lewis, allowing him to live without a pulse!

Lewis, who was suffering from a heart condition, had his heart removed and the “continuous flow” device installed. The device, which had only been tested before, uses blades to circulate blood throughout the body, replacing the function of a normal heart.
