What Went Wrong? Kate Henshaw Reveals Shock Over Fallout With Genevieve

In a recent appearance on the Tea with Tay podcast, Henshaw recalled that both of them were once frequently seen together and widely regarded as close friends within the Nigerian film industry. She, however, noted that the relationship did not remain the same over time.

According to her, the bond between them faded gradually without any clear or identifiable reason. She admitted that she still does not fully understand what led to the distance between them.

Henshaw also suggested that issues such as trust might have played a role, but emphasized that she cannot state this with certainty.

She explained that people often expect clear explanations when friendships end, but in her case, there is no definite answer as the change happened slowly and unexpectedly.

In her words, “We grew apart. Maybe she had some kind of mistrust about me… I don’t know what happened. I don’t know what came over her.”
