Do Not Be Angry – Falegan Begs Nkechi Blessing During Emotional TikTok Live Session

Ekiti politician and philanthropist, Opeyemi Falegan, has publicly apologised to Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday, years after their widely publicised relationship ended in a bitter disagreement.

Falegan tendered the apology during a TikTok Live session with the actress on Saturday, where both personalities revisited the circumstances surrounding their 2022 separation and addressed unresolved issues from their past relationship.

According to Bush Radio Academy, Nkechi insisted that an apology was necessary before they could completely move past their differences, recalling how some comments made by Falegan during an earlier social media broadcast had contributed to their fallout.

The actress explained that remarks made by her former partner several years ago continued to resurface on social media and were still being used by some individuals to ridicule her.

She stressed that the experience had reminded her that statements made on the internet could remain accessible and continue to affect people’s reputations long after they were made.

Nkechi also recalled defending Falegan against online criticism despite their past disagreements. She said she had previously intervened in social media comment sections to clarify that he was not the person some individuals accused of scamming them.

Although she maintained that their previous relationship problems should not make them enemies, the actress insisted that reconciliation could not happen without a sincere apology.

Responding to her concerns, Falegan said he had changed over the years and urged both parties to put their disagreements behind them. He also acknowledged that they had different perspectives on what happened during their relationship, suggesting that it was time to move forward.

The politician maintained that the person he was in the past was different from who he had become, adding that he did not intend to prolong their disagreement by revisiting every statement made during their separation.

He eventually offered an apology, saying he did not want the actress to continue harbouring anger towards him.

Falegan expressed his regret and appealed to Nkechi to let go of the past, acknowledging that both of them had grown and become more mature since their relationship ended.

The exchange marked a public attempt by the former couple to address lingering tensions and put their highly publicised disagreement behind them.
