He Wanted To Marry And Take Care Of Me – Laide Bakare Makes Fresh Allegation Against Eniola

Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has made fresh allegations against her colleague, Eniola Badmus, claiming that she once prevented a man who was interested in marrying her from obtaining her contact details.

The actress made the revelation during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo on the programme WithChude, where she reflected on her past relationship with Eniola and the circumstances surrounding their fallout.

According to Bush Radio Academy, Laide alleged that an unidentified man once contacted Eniola and expressed his interest in her, requesting her phone number because he wanted to marry her and take care of her.

She claimed that Eniola, however, told the man he would have to pay her before she could share Laide’s contact details.

Recounting the incident, Laide said she could hear the man pleading with her colleague to connect him with her, but alleged that Eniola abruptly ended the conversation.

In her account, the actress said the admirer was excited while expressing his intentions and had repeatedly asked Eniola to provide her number because he wanted to establish a relationship with her.

Laide further alleged that she later contacted Eniola to understand what had happened, but her colleague reportedly insisted that any man interested in her must go through her and be prepared to pay a substantial amount.

She added that when she subsequently asked Eniola about the man, the actress allegedly dismissed the matter without providing further details.

Reflecting on the experience, Laide questioned why her colleague would allegedly prevent someone who wanted to marry and provide for her from making contact.

The revelation has brought renewed attention to the disagreement between the two actresses, whose once-close relationship has reportedly deteriorated over time. Eniola Badmus’s response to the latest allegations was not included in Laide’s account.
