The President made the statement on Tuesday during the commissioning of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Zonal Directorate Office Complex in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State.

Vice President Kashim Shettima represented him at the event.

Tinubu reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting anti-corruption agencies and strengthening institutions responsible for promoting transparency, accountability, and good governance across the country.

According to him, the fight against corruption remains a central priority of his government, and every effort will be made to ensure that individuals who engage in corrupt activities face the full weight of the law.

He described the newly inaugurated EFCC office as more than a physical facility, saying it symbolizes the government’s resolve to build stronger institutions, enhance public trust, and promote national development.

The President noted that his administration is focused on empowering agencies with the tools and capacity needed to effectively safeguard public resources and combat financial crimes.

He stressed that corruption would not be tolerated under his leadership, adding that the government is prepared to pursue and prosecute offenders wherever they may be found.

Tinubu assured Nigerians that the campaign against graft would continue unabated as part of broader efforts to strengthen accountability and improve governance.

He emphasized that corruption has no place in the nation’s future and reiterated that those found culpable would be dealt with in accordance with the law.

“The message is clear: there is no hiding place for the corrupt. Nigeria will not condone graft, and anyone involved in such acts will be punished in line with the law,” he said.
