Morayo Brown Reveals Why She Left Harvesters Church, Cites Breakup With Minister She Dated

Speaking on an episode of The Morayo Show with Pastor Bolaji Idowu, she recounted that Harvesters was the first church she attended after relocating back to Nigeria. At the time, she was actively involved in church duties and served as head usher.

Morayo explained that she was in a relationship with a fellow minister in the church, and they were both deeply engaged in ministry work together. However, the relationship eventually ended, leaving her emotionally affected.

She said staying in the same church environment after the breakup became increasingly difficult. According to her, church leaders, including Pastor Bolaji Idowu, made efforts to persuade her to remain in the congregation despite the situation.

She added that both she and her former partner attended ministers’ meetings together before their separation, which made the aftermath even more challenging.

Ultimately, Morayo said she decided to leave the church to help herself heal and move forward, despite attempts by leadership to convince her otherwise.
