Speaking during a podcast interview with media personality Prince Ita, the actress explained that discussions about personal income are completely off-limits in her romantic life.
According to her, she has no intention of disclosing her salary to a partner and also does not expect to know how much her partner earns.
Isime noted that she places a high value on personal privacy, stressing that certain aspects of life should remain strictly individual.
She maintained that knowing a partner’s income is unnecessary in a relationship, just as she sees no reason to share details of her own earnings.
In her words: “I never discuss three things: my money, my money, my money. I will never tell a man how much I earn, for what reason? And I don’t want to know how much he earns either. I don’t see the need. I have no problem with him going through my phone, but I also see no reason to go through his. I never grew up dreaming about marriage; I always dreamed about working, earning my own money, and being independent.
“I even worry that I might not have a dream wedding because I don’t really believe in the idea of a perfect wedding. If I get married, it will simply be something we both agree on—whether big or small, depending on what works for us.”
