The directive was issued on Saturday during an interactive meeting with elected and appointed government officials held at the Coronation Hall of the Government House in Kano.
The governor reportedly stressed that every official serving under his administration must be a registered member of the ruling party and actively contribute to strengthening its structures across the state.
He noted that beyond carrying out their official responsibilities, political office holders have a responsibility to support the party’s expansion and grassroots mobilization ahead of future elections.
Governor Yusuf further expressed confidence in the APC’s readiness for the 2027 polls, stating that his administration is committed to ensuring the party’s success across all levels of the electoral process.
He also reaffirmed the state’s commitment to mobilizing support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid, emphasizing that party members and government appointees share the collective responsibility of delivering victory at the polls.
According to the governor, the administration is working toward securing victories for the APC in the presidential, governorship, National Assembly, State House of Assembly, and local government elections.
He maintained that any individual serving in his government who has not yet registered as a member of the APC should do so without delay, insisting that both elected and appointed officials must play an active role in building and strengthening the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
