The video, which resurfaced online on Saturday, June 27, 2026, showed Anuku lying by the roadside in the Wuse 2 area of Abuja while appearing to speak to himself and holding a disposable cup.

The clip quickly generated widespread reactions, with many expressing concern about the actor’s wellbeing, while others speculated about the circumstances surrounding the footage.

Reacting to the viral post, Segun Arinze dismissed the claims that the incident was recent, stating that the video had been recorded some time ago.

“This is a very old video oo,” Arinze wrote on social media.

Jerry Amilo also weighed in, urging members of the public to stop circulating what he described as misleading content capable of causing unnecessary panic.

“PLEASE THIS IS AN OLD VIDEO. STOP SPREADING EVIL NEWS AND WISHES,” Amilo wrote.

The reactions from the two actors came as renewed discussions about Hanks Anuku’s wellbeing spread across social media platforms.
