The governor’s position was conveyed on Sunday by his Chief of Staff, Mukhtar Musa, during the inauguration of the secretariat of the Association of Zamfara State Indigenes Residing in Kaduna.
According to Musa, the Lawal administration remains committed to tackling insecurity through close collaboration with security agencies operating across the state.
He said the state government would continue to provide logistical support, equipment, ammunition and other resources needed by security personnel to strengthen ongoing operations against armed groups.
“The governor will never negotiate with bandits. Those willing to surrender should do so or face the law,” Musa said.
He added that the government would sustain its offensive against criminal groups until lasting peace and security are restored throughout Zamfara State.
Musa also stressed the importance of community participation in the fight against insecurity, noting that timely intelligence from residents remains crucial to the success of security operations.
He urged members of the public to report suspicious movements and activities to the appropriate security agencies, assuring them that the administration remains focused on restoring peace while delivering meaningful development across the state.
