Watch What’s Coming!” – Wike Declares Adeleke Belongs To His Camp Ahead of 2027
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has praised Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke for visiting both him and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Wike, while speaking on Friday during an inspection exercise in Abuja, declared that Adeleke belongs to his political camp, adding that they all ultimately belong to President Tinubu’s camp.
The FCT minister also described the 2027 general election as one that would be particularly significant, while taking a swipe at members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) who claimed credit for Adeleke’s recent electoral victory.
He said, “I told you that the 2027 election would be the most in-depth election. I have told ADC who are talking about, oh, they helped Adeleke to win, they just wanted to go ahead and harvest what they never planted, you know.”
According to Wike, Adeleke’s recent visits to Tinubu and himself offered a clear indication of where the Osun governor’s political allegiance lies.
He stated, “So, Adeleke is fully supporting Mr President.”
Wike further said the political realignment ahead of 2027 was still taking shape, predicting that more political groups would join the alliance backing President Tinubu.
He said, “And so, we went to bed last night and encouraged ourselves to continue. And the next few weeks, watch what is going to happen. You will see a larger rainbow coalition in this country supporting Mr President.”
Wike concluded by declaring, “Adeleke belongs to us, and we all belong to Mr President. Thank you, brother.”
